Welcome!

Christchurch Methodist Church, Bexhill is part of the Hastings, Bexhill and Rye Circuit, within the South East District of the Methodist Church.

Our Worship

As Methodists we try to reflect in our lives the love that God wishes to share with all people. In worship, we give thanks to God who loves us and has set us in this world of possibilities. We give thanks for one another. We pray that God will continue to sustain and enable everyone to live fulfilled lives.

We are a family church. Every Sunday at 10.30 a.m. we have our main service. Members of the Junior Church join with us for the first part, then go to their own special activities. Around 11.30 a.m. we all gather together again for coffee in the hall.

On the third Sunday monthly we have a Family Service, also at 10.30 a.m., when the children and young people stay in for the whole service. Holy Communion is celebrated regularly. We meet for worship on the fourth Sunday evening each month and on other Sundays we join in worship with other local Methodist Churches.

Our congregation will be delighted to make you welcome when you come to any of the services. Please see the Services page for further details of all the services.

We are glad to welcome people for weddings, baptism and funeral services at the church. Our minister is happy to meet and discuss these services.

The ‘Messenger’ our church magazine with news and information is printed monthly. Please read the latest Minister's Message.

Christchurch has a varied programme of activities to suit all tastes and ages. In addition to our regular activities, we also hold special events, such as our renowned annual Festival of Flowers and we also take an active part in community events, like the Bexhill Carnival.

Details of the latest Christchurch Methodist Church Services are now online.
