At Christ Methodist Church, we affectionately welcome to worship with us in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. At our church, we believe in the central dogma of God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit and we believe in the absolute forgiveness of sin through faith in our Lord Jesus Christ.
Do you need peace, rest and the assurance of God with you? We enjoin you to obey the calling of Christ in Matthew 11 vs. 28 which says ‘come unto me all ye who are laboured and heavy laden and I will give you rest’. At our church, you are assured of finding that rest and peace at the feet of Jesus.
The centrality of our worship focuses on Our Lord Jesus Christ. In view of that, we gladly invite you to and come and worship with us along with other brethren from all races and places and let’s raise our voice together in honour of the Lord this coming Sunday.
Our services are designed to bless and enrich your soul. We hold three services within the week:
Sunday Services: Our Sunday worship service starts from 8.00AM to 10.00AM. At our Sunday service, we worship God through singing onto the Lord, Bible reading to learn of the will of God for our lives, Sermon from the Reverend of God, and Prayers to God most holy through our Lord Jesus Christ.
Tuesday Prayer meeting holds every Tuesday at 6.00 PM where we join hands with other brethren to pray for ourselves, the church, our communities and the world at large. We do this in obedience to the word of our Lord in 1Thess. 5 vs. 17 which urges us to pray without ceasing.
Thursday Bible Study holds every Thursday at 6.00 PM. It is a forum for studying the bible and refreshing ourselves in the word taking care to do in accordance with all that is written in it according to Josh. 1 vs. 8. Do you feel burned out and drained? Join us at our Bible study every Thursday to be refreshed by the word of our Lord Jesus Christ.
We believe in the infallibility of the Bible as the only true word of God, We believe in the Holy Trinity, and in the Blood of Jesus which is able to wash us clean from our sins.
