Centenary House Church & Community Centre

Centenary House is a large, detached Edwardian house that has recently been refurbished and modernised for use as meeting rooms by church and community groups.

The modern facilities and well equipped rooms are suitable for:

• training courses,
• committee and general meetings,
• art exhibitions,
• fund raising events, like coffee mornings,
• counselling sessions,
• small occasions, parties and celebrations,
• day retreats and quiet days

We are always pleased to show friends around the house and facilities and discuss one-off or regular use of the Centre.

Meeting Rooms for Hire

Our meeting rooms are on both the ground and first floor of the building. All rooms are light and welcoming and each measures around 200 square feet. Depending on requirements and layout, each main room can accommodate up to 30 people. Chairs and tables are provided. Each room has a good number of electrical sockets. Light refreshments can be served from newly fitted kitchens on both floors. Toilet facilities are available on both floors.

Our Meeting Rooms

	The Carey Room is on the Ground Floor of Centenary House.
	The Gillham Room is also on the Ground Floor and has french doors leading out to the garden and patio area. The ground floor also features a large, newly fitted kitchen with fridge and hob, plus there are toilet facilities and special disabled toilet.
	The Leslie Room is also on the First Floor of Centenary House. It has been designed for use by children and for young people's activities.
	The first floor kitchen is newly fitted and has a fridge and hob. Toilet and shower facilities are also available on the first floor.

There is disabled access to the front and rear of Centenary House and throughout the ground floor, with easy access to the garden and patio area.

From Eastbourne

• Follow the A259 to Bexhill
• At the King Offa Way traffic lights (junction with London Road A269), turn left.
• Take the 3rd turning on the right into St George's Road
• Take the 1st turning to the left into Springfield Road.
• Christchurch Methodist Church is at the top of the hill on the left.

From Hastings/Pebsham

• Follow the A259 to Bexhill
