The Christchurch Singers
Christchurch Singers are a group of people who meet weekly on a Thursday evening between 7.15 p.m. and 8.30 p.m. We sing on special occasions in Church Services, like Christmas, Easter, Harvest and special anniversaries during the year.
Over the last couple of years, we have sung three John Peterson's Christmas Cantatas, Roger Jones' "Pharisee" and also two Musicals involving children from Junior Church. Last Easter time we sang "The Crucifixion" by John Stainer and this Easter we sang John Peterson's Cantata "Hallelujah What a Saviour".
Currently, we have 38 members: 25 from Christchurch Methodist Church and 13 from other local churches who join us.

Upcoming events featuring the Christchurch Singers
As this year it is our Centenary we will be singing in many of the special services that will take place during the year.
Making music is all about enjoyment. We are just ordinary folk who get together each week, try to make a joyful noise and enjoy fellowship with one another. So if you would like to come along and have a sing please do so.
