Flower Festival 2008 - Cavalcade
It's our 20th Annual Festival of Flowers at Christchurch!
We are looking forward to the 20th Annual Festival of Flowers to be held at our church. This year, the displays will reflect the theme "Cavalcade".
Open 24th to 26th May 2008
The Flower Festival opens on Saturday 24th may from 10am to 4.30pm, and it is also open for the same time on Bank Holiday Monday, 26th May. On these days, stalls, competitions, light lunches and cream teas will be available. On Sunday 25th May, the Flower Festival will be open from 2pm to 4.30pm, when cream teas will also be available.
Also on the Sunday at 10.30am there will be a special Festival Service of Celebration led by our own Minister, the Rev. Roger Leslie.
As in previous years, the Festival is being arranged by the members of the church Ladies Supper Club and once again, it will be a wonderful selection of flowers and displays. Funds raised at the festival will be donated to church and charitable projects.
We are also delighted that this year we will also be able to make use of the adjacent Centenary House, the Church and Community Centre that is linked to Christchurch - so there will be even more to see!
