Festival 2005 - A Grand Day Out!

Each year, Christchurch holds its renowned Festival of Flowers, with floral displays created to a theme. In 2005, the theme was 'A Grand Day Out' - reflecting some of the days out and events thousands of people attend and enjoy each year.
The Festival helps to raise funds for local, national and international charities. This year's nominated charities were the Gateway Club of Bexhill, the Motor Neurone Association (Hastings and Rother Branch) and the Hurstwood Park Neurological Centre at Haywards Heath. In 2005, the Festival, so ably organised by the Ladies Supper Club, raised around £3000.
